Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessment

An initial face to face appointment with a child and parent(s) will take place to obtain the developmental history from the parent and for observation. This will last 60 minutes. This will be followed with electronic questionnaires for teacher(s), for parent(s) and for the child if age appropriate. In addition, a review of any previous reports and school information will also be undertaken.  A separate feedback appointment in person with parent(s) and a child which takes up to 60 minutes will follow. The final report will be provided within 4 weeks from the feedback appointment.

The assessment is conducted according to the NICE guidelines and it should be recognised by the NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).

If your child is diagnosed with ADHD and you, along with your child, wish to start pharmacological treatment, then the initial discussion can take place during the feedback appointment.

Please note that if 60 minutes is not sufficient time to discuss all of the options, then a follow up appointment, which is not include in this package, will need to be booked.

In addition, in terms of prescription if your GP agrees, we can sign share care document so the prescription can be provided by your GP after stabilisation.

Cost in total £1300, which has to be paid in full in advance to reserve an appointment. Please note that I only consider self-funding as I do not have any agreements with private insurers.
